JOB DESCRIPTION
- Writing end-to-end Sell-side equity research reports (initiation of coverage, updates, IPO notes etc.) on European pharmaceutical and biotechnologynames assigned by the client
- Building/maintaining comprehensive financial models that involve detailed drivers-based forecasts on revenue and forecasts on financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow statements
- Reviewing in-depth equity research reportsthat has detailed commentary on investment case points, valuation, model assumptions and forecasts, among others
- Writing and/or reviewing time-sensitive earnings/event updates on companies under coverage, while maintaining the accuracy and relevance of data presented
- Pro-actively tracking on a daily basis any news/stock price spikes on stocks under coverage and flagging to the client when any relevant news/event is identified
- Maintaining a task list of ongoing/pending tasks on a regular basis, and finalizing task priorities with the client-side analyst, and separately, with the in-house project manager as well
- Ensuring that the tasks assigned are completed within the deadline, and delivering top quality output backed by a thorough, self-driven quality-check process
- Working on various other projects and ad-hoc projects as and when required to ensure maximum utilization
