Roles and Responsibilities
Experience & Exposure: 7-10 years in various technologies. Generalist Architect with exposure to larger integration projects involving multi-technology and multi-vendor
Data architect will be responsible and accountable for:
- Detailed hands-on knowledge of Data Modelling, ETL and BI projects
- Driving Data initiatives / Projects from technical feasibility, decisions and execution
- Design and implement effective data / BI solutions and models to store and retrieve existing business data.
- Examine and identify database / Data Lake structural necessities by evaluating business operations, applications, and programming.
- Assess data and BI implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
- Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality.
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features.
- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing data solutions
- Educate business through training and individual support.
- Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.
- Development and maintenance logical / conceptual data model of the overall solution
- Maintenance of Data entities list assignment to application
- Mapping of data owning to data consuming applications, maintaining list of interfaces required (with requirements), develop and maintain conceptual data model, data mart for the interfaces.
- Design data mapping / transformation to / from conceptual data model to individual applications participating in interfaces.
- Development of data migration approach and driving data migration process
- Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
