Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
Responsibilities:
– Write test data scripts, based on ETL mapping artifacts
– Execute data scripts and detailed analysis on the scripts
– Create strategies and test cases for applications that use ETL components
– Data mining and detailed data analysis on data warehousing systems
– Execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of data related projects
– Provide input and support big data testing initiative
– Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
– Document all problems and assists in their resolution
Skills:
– 10+ years of relevant work experience testing backend, focusing on complex SQL queries
– Experience analyzing ETL mapping documents
– Create SQL scripts based ETL mapping documents
– Create and execute strategies and test cases for applications that use ETL components
– Expert in Database testing with excellent PL SQL skills and queries
– Data warehouse testing experience
– Experience testing Waterfall/Agile Development Projects
– Experience testing mission critical Financial Applications
– Hands on experience in relational databases and database architecture
– Hands on experience interpreting and understanding data models and ER diagrams
– Experience testing Big Data systems with Hive and Hbase knowledge
– Strong Understanding of Hadoop eco system
