Responsibilities
This is an engineering lead role that builds next-gen banking platform. You will be leading important engineering initiatives and managing multiple squads in multiple locations. The ideal candidate should have the following qualities and skills:

Requirements
- 8 – 10 Years working experience in BFSI
- Possess University Degree from a recognized institution
- Has hands-on experience in data engineering
- Awesome communications skills, a team player and ability to connect with all levels
- Motivated, self organised individuals who is responsible and matured to fulfill the tasks entrusted
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior managers
- Ability and desire to think creatively to deliver business results both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills: written, verbal, visual presentations and effective listening skills
- Ability to influence others
- Must be intellectually curious
- Must think strategically and make sound judgment calls
- Must have people management and people development experience
Technical requirements/Tech Stack
- Big Data
- Hands-on coding experience with technologies such as Spark, Kafka, No-SQL platforms
- Experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Model Design, Data Management, Data Integration, Data Warehouse, and Data Analytics, Advanced Analytics, Master Data Management, Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, and Data Governance.
- Hands on experience on AWS technology stack
- Technology skills required Informatica, Oracle Exadata, Hadoop, Karfka, Spark streaming, PL/SQL, SQL, Linus and UNIX scripting
- Strong mix of technology and business knowledge and experience
- Extensive experience building and owning large- scale distributed backend systems
- Experience working with three or more of : Unix/Linux environments, Distributed and parallel systems, Workflow automation, CI/CD Platform , Cloud platforms development e.g. AWS/GCP,
- Kubernetes/Container platforms based development
- Microservices nice to have
- Realtime core Java with multi-threading exp JDK 11+, Spring Boot
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, PCF
- Workflows: e.g. Camunda, JBPM
- Data-oriented architecture
- Data-oriented user entitlements
- Experience of using of Jenkins, Git/Maven & IDEs
- DevOps: CI/CD
- Spring Batch for batch processing is a plus.
- Microservice open source: Spring Cloud, Eureka, Circuit Breaker
- Rabbit-MQ for messaging and Redis for data caching
- Integration framework (e.g. Apache Camel / Spring Integration)
- Banking platforms integration experience – nice to have
