We are looking for Business Analyst for Mumbai/Gurgaon location.
Job Description:
- Drive standard operations cadence (e.g., analytics on weekly / quarterly /annual target setting, forecasting, revenue and operational KPI reviews, other key business reviews) with focus on actionable improvement opportunities
- Create and maintain key data sets and reporting to track business performance
- Analyse large data sets and identify trends to proactively deliver insights into setting goals, performance around critical business metrics, and opportunities for improvements.
- Perform root cause analyses on key problem areas and suggest innovative ideas to mitigate risk to drive business growth
- Lead assessment of new growth opportunities for business programs, including collaboration with local / global teams to build/ contextualize / test hypotheses
- Build strong relationships internally and effectively collaborate in developing new strategic go-to-market initiatives
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop / refine standard processes and tools/dashboards for scaling
Skills/Experience required:
- Overall 5 years of experience
- BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering, Math, Business Administration, or closely related, or foreign equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and rigor, can-do attitude and desire to learn
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SQL (mandatory). Development experience on large data sets and in at least one scripting language (Python preferred) is a plus.
- 3+ years hands-on experience in Tableau(mandate) and/or Microstrategy, Power BI, QlikView (good to have) is required.
- 3+ years hands-on experience in business intelligence and data warehousing.
- Experience of having worked in large, fast-moving cross-functional environments
- Comfortable in managing breadth, managing multiple concurrent projects
