What your typical day at TransOrg would look like
- Develop solutions using Advanced Excel, macros, VBA and SQL that clients can understand and advise them on strategy
- Analyze & interpret data and communicate results to clients with the aid of BI
What you need to excel at
- Building medium to complex periodic reports and analytical dashboards using advanced excel skills
- Collate multiple data points and build up analysis using excel macros/VBA to derive relevant market insights
- Well-versed in quantitative analysis, research, data mining, trend analysis, and customer profiling
- Deliver quality outputs by ensuring accuracy, continuous improvement and adherence to SOPs and quality logs
- Interact with clients on a regular basis to understand the business requirements and drive solutions to simple to critical issues
- Demonstrate end to end ownership of the processes and deliver accountabilities effectively
- Must have excellent communication, written, and team-oriented skills
What we’re looking for
- 0-3 years in Data analysis and BI role
- Strong proficiency in MS-Excel, VBA and SQL
- Hands-on experience in BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI is preferable
- Proficiency in Python, R or SAS is preferable
- Good hands-on experience with MS-Access is preferable
- Must have a passion for data, structured or unstructured
- Should have sound experience in data mining and data analysis
- Analytical bent of mind in collating and analysing complex or diverse information skilfully and conceptualizing alternative solutions
- Actively contribute, participate and drive the overall objectives and goals of the team
- Excellent critical thinking, verbal and written communications skills
- Ability and desire to work in a proactive, highly engaging, high-pressure, client service environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
- Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance. Personal time management skills and ability to meet individual and team deadlines
- Modeling experience good to have.
