As a Lead CLR Data Analyst, you will develop and execute complex reporting plans, improvement initiatives, and other assigned projects related to Target s risk and compliance programs. Among the principle duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing data, information collection, and analytical support, and managing delivery of special projects (e.g., create project plans, organize meetings, collect status updates, etc.)

• Creating automated data visualizations in enterprise tools (Greenfield, DOMO) that provide partners with easy access to critical business insights.

• Proactively identifying solutions that may provide benefit across the Legal Affairs business unit and other related functions.

• Coordinating and enhancing collaboration for reporting and information services spanning multiple Legal Affairs business unit teams and other related functions, including to conduct analysis on current and new projects.

• Prioritizing Legal Affairs reporting projects among partners within Target s centralized data and business intelligence function while also influencing peer group priorities.

• Being a subject-matter expert on and demonstrate leadership in data management and information services for the Legal Affairs business unit.

• Using your technical and softskills to help guide the team s best practices to advance and scale capabilities.

• Representing the Legal Affairs team in Targets internal cross-functional analytics community to share and learn techniques that will elevate the entire organizations reporting and analytics products.

About you:

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience

• 7+ years work experience in data analysis or masters level education in business analytics, data science, etc.

• Proficient with SQL query language

• Proficient developing in data visualization tools (Greenfield (internal), Tableau, Power BI, DOMO, etc.)

• High level of initiative and organization, with the ability to be resilient and adaptable and manage ambiguity, risk, uncertainty and changing directions

• Design, plan and manage complex reporting products at scale

• Works independently with limited direction

• Demonstrate innovative and creative problem solving skills with strong leadership skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex analysis to clients regardless of the clients technical expertise

• Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education

• Ability and desire to proactively share knowledge to advance the entire team.

Desired Requirements:

• Strong domain specific knowledge in Risk and Compliance processes

• Prior experience in risk and compliance / retail analytics industry

• Programming: SQL, R, Python, Hadoop ecosystem

• Math and/or Statistics:

• Mathematical logic (AND, OR, NOT)

• Descriptive and Inferential Statistics

• Calculus (weighted averages, rates of change, single variable)

• Testing and Research Design:

• Apply the scientific method and experimental design

• Generate insight from observational data
