About What You’ll Work On Work on customer facing projects as part of a Splice Machine Professional Services team.
Design, build and launch extremely efficient and reliable data pipelines to move data across a number of platforms including time series databases, data warehouse and real-time systems Build dashboards to visualize the data.
Help build Splice Machine’s first Connectivity Lab that will integrate Livewire’s ecosystem of partners including but not limited to OSIsoft PI, dataPARC, AspenTech, Yokogawa, Siemens and ABB Develop strong subject matter expertise and manage the SLAs for data pipelines; improve existing or develop new tools to detect data anomalies real time and through offline metrics
You are encouraged to think out of the box and play with the latest technologies while exploring their limits.
Requirements 10+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role, with a focus on time series data Experience with at least one of the following; OSIsoft PI, dataPARC, AspenTech, Yokogawa, Siemens, ABB or an equivalent Historian.
Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure or Google).
Expert knowledge of SQL and of relational database systems and concepts Strong knowledge of data architectures and data modeling and data infrastructure ecosystem
Experience with ETL pipeline tools like Airflow and NiFi, and with code version control systems like Git
The ability to communicate cross-functionally, derive requirements and architect shared datasets; ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audiences, including executives
The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
