Job Location: Mumbai
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with subject matter experts to define appropriate features and metrics for a given model or solution
2. Build models for freight market pricing changes using industry indicators and develop pricing strategies into our automated rating and bidding solutions
3. Design and build machine learning algorithms and integrate them with the various applications we build through APIs
4. Build and manage ETL solutions to make sure data is loaded correctly
5. Build and manage API endpoints on API gateways
6. Work with designers and developers in an Agile/Scrum environment
7. Write well-designed, efficient code in Python, PHP, Perl, and other technology platforms we will use in the course of development
8. Build optimized API integration solutions for carriers like FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL as well as OMS/WMS solutions like NetSuite, SAP, Shopify, WooCommerce, and Oracle
9. Contribute constructively to team brainstorms, group critiques, and retrospectives
10. Collaborate with and mentor other members of the team
