Hiring Big Data Administrator for a telecommunication MNC in Bangalore/ Pune/ Noida/ Gurgaon/ Kolkata and Chennai location
Qualification : B. Tech/M.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc
Salary : Up to 22 LPA
Experience : Minimum 3 years into big data admin
Job Description :
1. Good Understanding of Hadoop ecosystem as well as practical experience with the various components such as HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive, NIFI and Mesos
2. Experience in the configuration/administration of HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive, NiFi and Mesos.
3. Knowledge of Linux operating systems, networks security etc.
4. Working Level Understanding of Databases (Postgres & Cassandra).
5. Stop/Start/Check Process/Navigate through NiFi UI
6. Strong Troubleshooting Skills.
7. Operations level knowledge, how to stop, start, check logs for Spark Applications and Service.
8. Basic understanding of Spark Cluster & associated services
9. Experience in doing L2 operation of any Java based application.
10. System Admin (Partial) support for managing the Infrastructure, Frameworks (HA Proxy, ZuuL, Zookeeper, SSL etc.) & database related issues.
11. Big Data Admin (Partial) support for managing Big Data components like NiFi & Spark.
12. Implement and support backup and recovery strategies
13. Plan and execute major platform software and operating system and maintenance across physical environments.
14. Troubleshooting local storage issues and working with application teams to cleanup files.
15. Experience in setting up automatic failover control using zookeeper.
