Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
- Processes one or more of the following: new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, garnishments, deductions, direct deposits, time sheet data, rate changes, retroactive adjustments and special pays; maintains vacation, sick leave and workers compensation records; compiles reports on base and premium pay; generates manual payroll checks and distributes checks; and researches and produces special reports.
- Prepare and file any Worker s Compensation, Modified Business Tax, other payroll related tax returns. Assists compensation staff in data gathering for compensation survey inputs.
- Responsible for processing/transmitting company payroll. Ensures accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings and company deductions.
- Prepares statistical reports on employee pay, commissions and bonuses; vacation, sick, disability and workers compensation leave; taxes, withholdings, etc. Generates and responds to inquiries regarding paychecks. Maintains records and payroll data files.
PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process timecards for multi-state employees.
- Prepare and process manual payroll checks.
- Prepare, file and pay all payroll related tax returns.
- Process and review all payroll data.
- Prepare and distribute standard and adhoc payroll reports to manager s or departments as needed.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Knowledge of ADP PCPW, ReportSmith and Oracle.
- Developing knowledge of Canadian payroll a plus but not required
- Ability to communicate complex information to employees or managers.
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
- Professional demeanor to maintain and enhance relationships.
- Completes routine work with minimal oversight, detailed instructions on new assignments and tasks.
- Ability to learn variety of job skills, company policies and work processes.
- Able to multi-task.
- Contributes to assignments.
