We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to drive the design and delivery of metrics and analytics that will guide Identity product leaders and engineers in making strategic decisions impacting Amazon customers world wide.
As an Identity Services Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE), you will:
- Solve important business problems through data mining, statistical analyses, and experiment design and analysis.
- Design, develop, and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions.
- Analyze data sets at scale – billions of rows and terabytes of raw data – to derive insights that help us understand our customers’ needs.
- Collaborate with software engineering and product management teams to collect data and communicate the results of your analyses.
- Propose and prioritize improvements to metrics, reporting, and data collection.
- 5+ years of experience as a data scientist, data engineer, software engineer, business intelligence engineer, or equivalent role
- Proficiency using Python to manage large datasets, perform data analysis, and create data visualizations
- Familiarity with AWS data and analytics services including S3, Redshift, and Athena
