Job Location: Kochi/Cochin

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create ad-hoc queries and reports as requested and provide on-going analytical support for these requests.
• In-depth knowledge and hands on development of BI Dashboards & Ad-Hoc Analysis.
• Determine testing needed to assure the functionality and integrity of reporting solutions.
• To Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile team environment, adopt quality assurance practices and established department standards and procedures; reviewing and critiquing code produced by others; ensuring appropriate documentation is produced at all points in the process.
• Collaborate with project team members and the business community on understanding the impact of proposed and alternative data solution and technologies.
• Demonstrate a team orientation by working closely and effectively with business partners, development teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5 years+ experience of Oracle Business intelligence (OBIEE) and Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA)
• Good understanding of dimensional data models and cube design
• Good understanding of ETL processes and design concepts in Informatica or ODI & DAC
• Ability to analyze key reports from source systems and translate based on business requirements to a proposed cube design
• Ability to communicate with the Business users, and then convert their requirement into specific technical development tasks to be passed on to technical resource (ETL, Cube design changes) and/or come up with appropriate solutions if the requirement can be fulfilled without technical involvement (report visualization activities)
• Understand full SDLC and/or Agile Scrum
• Basic knowledge of multiple database technologies and SQL

Must have:

• Good experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
• Good experience with Informatica Powercenter.
• Good knowledge of BI administration activities and processes
• Good knowledge of Dimensional Modelling / Star Schema and associated design concepts.
