As a Data Scientist Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Discovering insights around Customer Lifetime Value, Product Utilization, Addressable Market size, Churn and Retention Analysis.
• Ideating new models based on business requirements and operationalizing them in a production environment.
• Connecting disparate data sources inside and outside Akamai to test various business hypotheses.
• Handling adhoc and unscheduled data science support requests from Sales and Marketing to clarify and further business insight.
• Taking the initiative to keep up with developments in the field of data science and to learn on the job.

• Have 5 years work experience or Masters with 3 years work experience
• Have 3 years of hands-on experience with manipulating and cleaning data and conducting statistical analyses.
• Have 3 years of experience with Regression modelling, Survival Analysis, Mathematical Programming, Time Series Analysis, Probabilistic modelling, and unsupervised clustering techniques
• Have 5 years developing and implementing predictive models using Statistical or Machine Learning with R or Python
• Have 3 years experience with querying data from SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Hive)
• Have 3 years of experience and success in working with cross-functional teams (especially IT, Sales, Services, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Support).
