What will you get to do

• Synthesize data to provide actionable insights to the leadership and the product team to influence strategy and growth

• Developing testing hypotheses to explain both macro and micro trends and opportunities in the business which in turn influence product roadmaps

• Use Machine Learning techniques to automate processes/decision making and make product easier to use for product users

• Recommending product improvements based on analytical findings. Defining new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve performance

• Plan and perform A/B testing and product optimization in conjunction with Product Managers

Our ideal Data Scientist

• 1-3 Years of experience and a strong analytical background, with a degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or related quantitative field; emphasis on predictive analytics, data mining, statistics, machine learning, algorithms, or similar field desirable

• Understanding of concepts in quantitative user behavior analysis – segmentation, trends, cohort

• Strong understanding of concepts related to Statistics and ML(Supervised and Unsupervised)

• Experience with text data and NLP Modeling – a must

• Prior experience in sequence modeling and recommendation systems – an advantage

• Worked with github/bitbucket or similar tools and CI/CD implementation – an advantage

• Experience with testing and maintaining models/algorithms in production – retraining, monitoring model performance

• Ability to turn large amounts of ambiguous data into a concise, meaningful story

• Ability to understand user behavior and the meaning behind the numbers

• Strong working knowledge with SQL and Python

• Experience working in a Product set up – SAAS set up an advantage
