Roles and Responsibilities
Healthcare Database Analyst will help with Medical Billing software & EDI set-up and onboarding of new clients, including physicians, medical practices and hospitals in the US healthcare space. Detailed roles and responsibilities are below:
• Support set-up of Clearinghouse and Insurance carriers within PM software
• Facilitate Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) set-up
• Help in developing billing workflows and train internal staff on billing software utilization
• Set-up, install and troubleshoot systems including user software, email, telephone, and office equipment in mixed Microsoft / Mac environment
• Provide support and technical assistance to internal staff, both local and remote, in the use of Office 365 / MS Office suite
Desired Candidate Profile
• Strong familiarity with US healthcare landscape needed
• Experience working with multiple EHR and PM software’s including Allscripts, AdvancedMD, NextGen, eClinicalWorks, Greenway, EPIC or other major systems
• Familiarity with hardware asset management including PC, Printer, Scanner configuration, set-up and maintenance
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PM software systems
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Work night shifts
