What expertise & experiences would you need to have to play this kind of role?
– Excellent knowledge and expertise in Linux Administration, Shell, Perl, Python Scripting and automating Cloud Infrastructure.
– Experience with AWS and Azure Clouds Services (VM, Load balancers, Storage, Clustered networks, LDAP, Single Sign on Integrations.
– Experience working with OpenStack, LinuxUNIX, Rackspace, Docker and AWS, Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
– Knowledge of web services, API, REST and RPC.
– Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCPIP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks.
– Database experience, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, and related data stores such as Postgres.
– Experience with ssl certificate management.
-Experience in automating routine tasks and scripting automations in public and private cloud.
– Good Understanding of Networking concepts, port channels and vLAN configurations on Linux.
– Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of Linux servers and management of server resources between virtual machines.
– Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual machines and virtual servers.
– Knowledge of window’s technologies, AD, Exchange servers, Microsoft auditing.
– Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, Nagios, Check_mk, Logstash, Splunk etc.
