The key role will be to understand/absorb from product leadership- the product vision, strategy, high level roadmap of epics and features- in order to translate/breakdown the features into user stories that satisfy desired business outcomes and give sufficient clarity to the development/engineering team on what to build.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing business needs
• Analyzing data to inform business decisions
• Use business process modelling notations (BPMN, DMN) to document processes
• Work with the Product Owner to understand the product strategy and the roadmap that delivers to the strategic outcomes.
• Develop a prioritized backlog of work with Product Owner, UX and Engineering
• Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams
• Develop, negotiate and finalize user stories – ensuring they are manageable and if necessary, sliced into smaller user stories.
• Define acceptance criteria along with the team (clarity of definition of done)
• Be available to the team to ensure clarity on business requirements are provided as needed
• Gather feedback to improve features and the requirements gathering process
• Work with product and engineering to reproduce and help resolve bugs
• Monitor customer acceptance and engagement
