Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business, Actuarial or related field – Mandatory

  Experience

• Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant analytical experience in insurance or financial industry

  Technical

• Sound understanding of insurance data.

• Sound analytical skills.

• Sound knowledge around key financial drivers of insurance portfolios and how these impact financial results.

• Advanced SQL/Redshift/Netezza skills – mandatory.

• Advanced Tableau skills – mandatory

• Advanced Excel skills – mandatory

• Advanced Cognos skills – mandatory

• Ability to work effectively under tight timeframes & commercial pressures

• Ability to work in both a team environment & independently with high level time management skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with people with different technical, sales and managerial backgrounds
