Responsible for providing technical leadership with respect to architecture, technical issues, including software development, project releases and engineering tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities

Must Have

• Expert working knowledge of T-SQL, data warehousing and data management concepts.

• Expert working knowledge of reporting technologies like SSRS and Power BI

• Designing, building and deploying BI Solutions (e.g. reporting tools).

• Developing complex visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.

• Expert working knowledge of performance monitoring, file-tuning and optimization of dashboards

• Understanding of Power BI security implementations.

• Collaborating with teams to integrate systems.

• Expert in building quick POCs (proof of concepts) around newer more effective technologies for the team

• Documenting development efforts as required by change management practices.

• Strong communication skills

• Good team player with strong technical interviewing skills

• Implementing the best practices and coding standards of the project.

• Quickly eliminate technical roadblocks across various engineering functions.

• Can take effective independent decisions

• Expert working knowledge of Agile development methodologies

• Effective and timely visibility of true project status to senior management

• Efficient escalation management

Should Have

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps.

• Good sense of prioritization and time management

• Ability to make effective independent decisions

• Knowledge of Azure SQL (SQL-as-a-service).

• Highly analytical, data-driven and process-oriented mind set

• Good sense of prioritization and time management

• Effective team core skill valuation and upscaling.

Could Have

• Familiarity with other BI tools.
