Responsibilities:
– Lead Big Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Visualization and Data Architecture teams
– Lead the Data Analytics team and work on Data pipelines and Data Integration from various sources
– End to End Delivery of Data Engineering and Analytics Solutions
– Work with cross functional teams and ensure the larger business objectives are met
– Ensure cloud readiness of data and systems and plan the roadmap for analytics in the cloud
– Managing budgets, projects, people, stakeholders, vendors is an integral part of this role
– Prepare the Roadmap for to Business Unit
– Work closely with the CXOs to achieve business needs
Mandatory Skills:
– Experience in Big Data Engineering, Data visualization, Data Analytics along with technical project management experience
– Technical Project Management, Stakeholder Management, and strong communication skills
– Experience with delivering small, medium and large integration and Data analytics projects
– Experience working with cross-functional teams, from IT to software engineering to business domains
– Experience in building Data Architecture on Distributed systems like Big Data Hadoop
– Hands-on experience in Big Data Tools Spark, Hive
– Hands-on experience on Data Visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
– Hands-on experience on Python or R will be preferred
– Basic experience with scripting (Shell, Perl, Python)
– Understanding of REST APIs, Web services, and service-oriented architectures
– Knowledge of challenges and benefits of data extraction in In-Premise and Cloud deployments
– Hands on experience in design, development and managing big data technologies
– Experience of managing medium to large projects
