Candidate profile:

• 7+ years in the Industry with experience in building Machine learning solutions from scratch
• Master’s degree in one of Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math
• Knowledge of SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or Spark
• Proven experience building and leading quantitative analyses as well experience building AI/ML solutions for a business
• Exposure to Data and Analytics in Fintech/ Banking and Financial services vertical with good understanding of Banking products especially Credit cards, Payments, Insurance and Securities
• Possesses solid understanding of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources
• Deeply understands statistical techniques and analytical concepts including hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing important recommendations for business units.
• Successfully demonstrated experience in the execution of data analytics initiatives including productization, leading to the development of useful insights and the improvement of a business’s performance and driving top-line growth
• Possess excellent articulation and cross functional skills.
