Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
Profile:
MBA (Finance) with B.Com or CA with up to 3 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following
Fund Accounting, Hedge Accounting, Financial Accounting, and Investment Banking or in the Financial Services sector
Good knowledge on Capital Markets Domain and understanding about Fund Accounting and Middle Office Operations
Exposure as a Business Analyst with excellent communication skills (written, oral and listening) would be preferred
Good Knowledge on accounting and its principles
Awareness of various financial instruments
Willing to adapt in a dynamic environment and dealing with unstructured problems
Demonstrate sound analytical skills and problem solving skills with Attention to detail / rigor
Fund accounting experience for large Indian AMC’s or from MNC administrators, global custodians, hedge funds also could be considered
Experience with software functional design and implementation is a definite plus
Multifonds Fund Accounting working knowledge is an added advantage
Ability to understand, explain and support change
Job Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between the clients and the R&D team i.e. analyzing the clients requirements and prepare functional specifications for the development team to arrive at the required output
Review and own the functional requirements raised by different geographical locations
Validating and testing of development to attain expertise in the product functionalities
Provide functional training to peers, engineers and other stake holders
Address questions/queries raised by onsite client support consultants on product features and provide timeline for delivery of fix or solutions
Discuss and keep Senior analysts updated on complex requirements which needs more understanding of the business/client workflow
Ensure that all support documentation is maintained and that new functionality is handed over in an efficient way
