Data analyst JD:

• Minimum of 5 years commercial experience in data relevant roles
• Understanding and use of statistical modelling methods in a business context
• Expert level knowledge of SQL to extract, join and transform data
• Experience in designing, development, and implementation of dashboards based on non-technical business requirements
• Expertise with Data Mapping and Data Modelling understanding the flow of data between multiple source systems (Cloud Database preferred)
• Data visualisation including working with an enterprise data visualisation platform such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience working with non-technical users in gathering business requirements and designing end-to-end analytical solutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills to clearly present your findings to a wide range of stakeholders
• Business Requirements gathering for enterprise data models and reports
• Data profiling and Data Quality Checks at the Semantic layer.
• Data Lineage mapping and traceability into the data pipelines
• Design, development, and implementation of structured data models (data vault, star schema, snowflake)
• A degree in a commercial, engineering, mathematics, data science, computer science or other related discipline
