Responsibilities:

• Be an active contributor and support Exploration team on ongoing projects aimed towards improving geological data coverage

• Conducting deep analysis for exploration assets country by country, ensure accuracy in historic and current data quality in exploration database.

• Perform basin level analysis to understand the geological setting and evaluate hydrocarbon plays with the help of creaming curves

• Conduct bottom-up research to capture subsurface parameters for exploration wells and discoveries

• Track exploration activities and investments for EP companies through primary and secondary research to maintain accuracy in the database

• Publish quality articles highlighting the latest exploration trends or provide insights on a particular geography

• The analyst will be responsible for research and analysis of certain country in a particular geography and will be trained intensively to conduct the required research and analysis.

Desired Qualifications:

An individual with the highest levels of energy, determination and analytical ability is a must, combined with excellent communication and presentation skills. You will have fared successfully in academics, participated in extra-curricular and will have these qualifications:

• Masters in Geology, reservoir, petroleum engineering with a good understanding of upstream oil and gas industry is preferred

• Experience working within the oil and gas industry with 1-4 years of experience are preferred

• High motivation and intelligence with expert interpersonal and oral/written communication skills

• Ability to operate independently and flexibly in an environment which is both demanding and multicultural

• Business analytical skills. Good hands on MS Excel, PowerPoint and Python

• Fluency in English
