About Us
The University of Hyderabad research team, under Professor Vijaya Bhaskar Marisetty and Dr. Varsha Mamidi’s leadership, is developing an integrated Blockchain-enabled cold chain supply chain logistics for Pharmaceutical Industries in collaboration with Dr.Reddy”s Labs. The project is for s period of 15 months and it is extendable further.
Responsibilities:
- Study and transform data science prototypes.
- Design, train, develop and test NLP applications
- Identify appropriate annotated datasets for Supervised Learning methods
- Effectively transform natural language into useful features
- Find and implement suitable algorithms and tools for NLP tasks
- Perform statistical analyses of output and refine models
- Extend ML libraries and frameworks to apply in NLP tasks
- Remain up to date in the rapidly changing field of machine learning and identify innovations that present an opportunity
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an NLP Engineer or similar role
- Understanding of NLP techniques for text representation (such as n-grams, bag of words, sentiment analysis, etc.), semantic extraction techniques, data structures, modeling statistics, and classification algorithms.
- Ability to design software architecture effectively
- Knowledge of Python, Java, and R
- Ability to write robust and testable code
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like sci-kit-learn)
- Strong communication skills
- An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
- Degree in Computer Science
- Experience in NetLogo.
