Work You’ll Do
– Design, develop and test ETL processes per business requirements, following development standards and best practices.
– Define and document complex technical designrequirements for integrations and data lakedata warehousing.
– Design complex integrations between multiple sourcetarget using Informatica BDM process orchestration
– Develop data integration between various sourcetarget systems comprises of Hadoop, hive, impala, Oracle ERP, SalesForce.com, Flat files, web services, REST and SOAP based API’s etc.
– Administrationinstallation of Secure Agents, connectionlog reviews
– Identify & resolve performance bottlenecks & optimize integrations
– Provide technical knowledgeexpertise to support the requirements definition, design, and development of data lake and data warehouse componentssubsystems
– Work in the development, testing, implementation and maintenance of Informatica BDM Mapping,Synchronization, and Replication jobs.
– Define and document complex technical designrequirements for integrations and data warehousing.
– Design and develop integrations with BDM based applications.
– Ensure designed solutions are reliable, self-recovering and require minimal support.
– Work closely with the Data Management Team to ensure data integrityquality and match-back to core systems transaction results.
– Participate in Agile systems development to deliver rapid Sprint releases.
– Work with automation development team to understand the source and target data models.
– Work with various business stakeholders to identify their datainformation needs.
– Develop, adhere to, and be a proponent for data warehouse development standards, including ETL standards and best practices.
– Analyze process improvement areasrecommend changes to processesprocedures for efficiencies cost-savingsetc.
Technical Requirements
– Education: B.E. B.Tech M.C.A. M.Sc. (CS)
– 3-6 years of working experience in either or combination of Informatica BDM and or PC
– Experience with product implementations, administration, installation and configuration andor Hadoop integration project execution
– Expert in Design, development and maintenance of Informatica BDM mappings, workflows, sessions
– Experience in designing, writing, and maintaining Linux Operating System Shell scripts and utilizing Linux system utilities.
– Knowledge and experience with integrating multiple Cloud applications including Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Live, or others using Informatica BDM.
– Understanding of Informatica REST API guidelines to access and pass information to Informatica BDM.
– Experience with Real-Time Data integration through SFDC Outbound Messages and workflows
– Experience with Object-Oriented methodologies, Test-First Development, Continuous Integration, and Agile Development processes.
– Experience with physical and logical database modeling.
– Excellent knowledge of data conversion to various formats e.g. CSV files, SOAP web services, JSON, HTTP Rest etc.
– Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
– Must be able to solve problem outside your areas of expertise
– Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
– Familiarity with BI and ETL tools (Enterprise Data Catalogue (EDC), Data Quality, ICRT, etc.)
– Familiarity with common Hadoop security technologies including Kerberos, Active Directory, Sentry, Ranger and other protocols
– Strong Analytical Skills
