Roles and Responsibilities
a) Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, design and develop potential technical solutions
b) Identifies data sources and works with source system team and data analyst to define data extraction methodologies
c) Knowledge in writing complex queries in PL SQL
Desired Candidate Profile
Sound knowledge of Tableau desktop development
Technical Experience:
• Sound knowledge of Tableau desktop development • Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions. • Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design. • Experience in writing complex SQL queries with solid understanding of SQL, rational databases, and normalization. • Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools • Experience in Datawarehouse. • Creating interactive dashboard using customized graphs, Set actions, Drill down, Passing parameters as filter for drill down. • Implementation of user security. • Has worked on multi-node clustered server environment • Usage of LODs and Table Calculations. • Usage of parameters and Different types of filters in tableau and Order of operation of tableau. • Expert in analyzing performance issues using Performance recording, auditing server configurations, other external tools like TabJolt • Working knowledge of Tableau Administration (User management and subscriptions) and Server-side architecture • Experience on performance optimization in high concurrency environment for large volumes of data • Performed stress testing – nice to have • Keeps self-updated and aware of the changes in the latest Tableau versions
