Job Location: Bangalore
The position holder will be responsible for delivering supply plans for warehouse and Last mile assets (City Logistics) in health supply chain of Flipkart. He/ She will be working in close coordination with multiple teams like demand planning, design, operations, finance, product, etc to deliver the following:
- Creation of required capacities for the requisite time periods while ensuring maximum capacity utilization and optimum costs
- Lead the long term capacity planning process: convert long term forecasts into resource requirement at individual asset level and coordinate across the chain on asset creation well in time to deliver on plans.
- Ensure best possible service levels for customer by ensuring right capacity creation and process rigor
- New Initiatives: Drive new initiatives and processes for new lines of business and deliver the right customer experience
- Automation: Deliver very high levels of automation by automating the repetitive activities and use talent for driving improvements and higher order tasks.
This is a new domain and will give an advantage of exponential learning curve.
Must have:
- Ability to deal with huge ambiguous data sets coming out disparate systems and in tools and spreadsheets of several distributed teams and bring structure
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and capacity planning principles. (Familiarity in Ecommerce is added advantage).
- Rational decision-making, negotiating and influencing skills. An analytical work style. The ability to work effectively on a team or independently.
- Build and fortify a strong business/data models by going in depth and understanding where opportunities are and chasing them with innovative ideas
- Ability to work with Spreadsheets and R for doing daily analysis.
- Customer first Approach in Solving any problems with first principles thinking
- Ability to do data analysis using SQL, Python or any scripting language is preferred.
