Roles and Responsibilities:

• Extract and summarise key legal and economic terms from LPAs, Subscription Agreements, Side Letters, ILPA reports and annual and quarterly reports into a custom platform.
• Should be good at providing key data on a timely basis in order to meet client deadlines.
• Work with a Manager / Sr. Associate to obtain the necessary documents to support the legal data extraction.
• Flag strange/ unusual terms to the team for further investigation.
• Work closely with the team to make sure projects stay on-track and can be delivered to clients on a timely basis.
• Understand how work is transferred through the team and ultimately to clients.
• Flag potential setbacks and bottlenecks to the Manager / Sr. Associate quickly and effectively.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of the files and data on the system are maintained

Key requirement for this role:

• Detailed-oriented individual who works well independently on systematic projects.
• Able to understand and summarise key terms in complex and lengthy documents, annual and quarterly reports and other information commonly provided by GPs.
• 1-2 years’ experience of reviewing and summarising key terms in complex, preferably law related, documents
• Meticulous when it comes to applying consistent methodologies when extracting terms and attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet team and client deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel (good at SUM, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, etc.) preferred but not required.
• Degree in law or economics preferred but not required.
