Your Main Tasks
- Support the team in assessing of new investment opportunities related to Health, Water Sanitation (WASH)
- Assist in the investment assessment process, including producing investment proposals, creating financial projections and participating in due diligence
- Conduct research on industry benchmarks, comparable investment cases, sector risks, competition, recently completed transactions in the market etc.
- Support the team in the standardisation of (cash flow) models
- Assist the team in the administration of transactions and the monitoring of existing investees
- Prepare meetings and documentation, including power point presentations, for internal and external stakeholders
Your Experience and Skills
- Degree in economics, finance, business administration, preferably complemented with studies in public health or sustainability or related topics of a recognized institution
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, project management, or consulting; a credit background or having worked in healthcare, water/sanitation projects would be considered as a plus
- Excellent in Excel, PowerPoint and financial modelling
- Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.
- High degree of initiative, reliability as well as willingness and ability to learn; the position often requires working remotely with colleagues in other offices
- Good communicator and team player with good spoken and written English skills
- Interest in an enthusiasm for impact investing
