Job Description:
Key SAP Skills and Knowledge Areas
– Good Knowledge of SAP Materials Management, PP, QM & related modules.
– SAP MM implementation experience.
– Worked on several projects from which at least one global implementation
– Exposure to SAP EHS module.
– Knowledge on SAP MM-FI integration & SAP MM-SD Integration.
– Experienced in Product lifecycle management, 3PL integration, Production planning & Quality Management.
– Experienced in Product costing, Logistics Execution processes-Inbound & Outbound, STO
processes & Process Control systems.
– Technical Debugging skills, Batch jobs, Interfaces and Bapis.
Key responsibilities
– Drives clarification of complex and analytical requirements from a technical solution design
perspective and delivers effort estimates for those solutions
– Contributes to the development of the Functional Specifications from a technical design
perspective
– Develops design/solution development for reports, interfaces, enhancements and forms of all
complexities related to Materials management and Quality Management processes in SAP.
– Able to read and interpret data object definitions
– Works closely with Product SMEs and Capability Centre Leads to ensure that new capabilities
are understood and applied in new work items
– Assists in the resolution of Production issues in meetings with Support Organization
– Perform Prototyping in support of requirements definition or technical design questions
– Execute Unit Testing, execute Integration Testing, and support execution of Regression Testing
– Resolve defects/issues during test cycles and post project go-live support
– Able to quickly grasp existing design and implement / rollout the templates on demand.
– Work with batch job scheduling and processing tools
Key competencies
– 5-8 Years of SAP experience in the area of MM, PP, QM & related modules.
– Delivery focused with doer/hands-on attitude
– Skilled in requirements gathering and documenting from a technical solution perspective
– Ability to participate in blueprint and design sessions, review options and provide
recommendations while communicating the benefits, risks, and constraints to both the business and IT stakeholders
– Organized and methodical. Ability to plan and implement according to plan though coping with a level of uncertainty and risk
– Ability to prioritize and multi-task with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines while
optimizing customer satisfaction
– Experienced virtual team worker
– Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
