Job description:

Python Technical Developer/ Lead (Python + MySQL + Web Scraping ) will be responsible for efficient web scraping/web crawling and parsing. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in web scraping and data extraction along with the ability to communicate effectively and adhere to set deadlines.

Responsibilities-

Develop and maintain service that extracts websites data using scrapers and APIs across multiple website

Extract structured / unstructured data

Manipulate data through text processing, image processing, regular expressions etc.

Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

Manage testing and bug fixes

Structure and manage database for analyses, collaborating with U.S. thought leaders to shape the upcoming reports

Manage data by proper data integration and management to all aspects of achieving data and analytics result quality.

Continue and build on our work by automating the data pipeline on our data science/ BI platform

Qualifications-

Good knowledge in Python, MySQL

Good knowledge in web scraping and APIs

Familiarity with some scraping tools like Beautiful Soup and Selenium etc

Good troubleshooting and debugging skills

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.

Requirements :

2 to 5 +years of work experience as a Python Technical Lead / Deputy Manager / Project Lead.

Sound understanding and knowledge of Python and My SQL

Experience on web crawling, scraping (Scrap, Beautiful Soup, Selenium) and web application development using Django Flask Framework

Experience in leading and mentoring a small team.

Preferred Skills:

Basic knowledge & experience of programming in SQL Server / MySQL – T-SQL and stored procedures.

Knowledge of reporting tools – Power BI.

Knowledge of ETL tools would be a plus.
