We are hiring for Prinicpal Data Scientist Position for one of the biggest stock exchange in India.

Roles and Responsibilities
– Understand the business scenarios and provide inputs on different AI/ML Use-case prospects
– Work independently as sole owner of assignments/tasks with minimal or no guidance
– Work on complex and big data framework
– Highly motivated and ability to work peacefully in stressed environment if arise
– Develop ML & AI models based on structured and unstructured data
– Work on Pyspark & Python as primary tools for data processing and model development
– Work on matrix environment with multiple stakeholders
– Orchestrate complete workflow right from reading the data from source to publishing model
output
– Present the work to internal/external stakeholders
– Mentor junior data scientists and guide them as and when needed
– Work with Pre-sales team to build the use-cases or models for customer to fetch business
– Build strong AI/ML team and lead them
– Establish standards and accelerators or PoC for faster delivery
Desired Candidate Profile
– Minimum 5-7 years of experience working as data scientist (overall 15+ years)
– Working experience in capital market projects
– Proven experience in working with large datasets
– Worked on structured, semi-structured and unstructured data
– Worked on projects which includes computer vision
– Highly skilled in advanced level programming in Python using libraries like pandas, scrapy, tensorflow, scikit-learn, keras, matplotlib etc.
– Proven experience working on NLP using python libraries like NLTK, pattern, gensim, spacy, textblob etc.
– Hands on experience with developing & interpreting time series models, linear regression, logistic regression, neural network, random forest, clustering etc.
– Experience working on columnar data formats
– Knowledge of CI/CD, version control, orchestration tools
– Highly motivated and self-beginner
– Highly skilled in developing supervised & unsupervised models
– Experience working on cloud platform like AWS/Azure
– Working knowledge of visualization tools QlikView/Power BI/Tableau
– Experience working in banking & financial services, capital market
– Excellent verbal and written communication
– Knowledge of statistical concepts like hypothesis testing, probability distribution etc.
Education: Master degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Operations Research, B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech, Advanced Degree/Diploma in Data Science
