Experience in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects

• Prior Experience with Big Data pipeline, Big Data analytics, Data warehousing
• Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries
• Hands-on experience with data lake implementations, core modernization, and data

ingestion

• High proficiency in database skills such as SQL for data preparation and cleaning with the

ability to write advanced queries and create stored procedures

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra / MongoDB
• Experience in designing systems that process structured as well as unstructured data at large

scale

• Experience with SQL/No-SQL, schema design and dimensional data modelling will be a bonus

Nice to have

• Experience in Azure/Hadoop/Hive/Spark/Scala/Python development, and exposure to

streaming data sources such as Kafka

• Understanding of machine learning landscape and concepts will be a bonus
• Experience in developing efficient software code/frameworks for multiple use cases

leveraging Python and big data technology stack such as Hadoop/Spark/HDFS environments

• Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, Travis CI, and JIRA) and development methodologies

such as Agile/Lean/Scrum Development

Key Result Areas:

• Data extraction, warehousing and building data repositories in on premise servers and/or

cloud environment

• Data management, programming, containerization, data lake implementations, core

modernization, and data ingestion

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new integrations and processes

required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of

data sources using ‘Big Data’ technologies

• Develop programs in Scala and Python as part of data cleaning and processing and design

systems that process structured as well as unstructured data at large scale

• Assemble large, complex data sets for business and IT requirements and foster data-driven

decision making

• Implement processes and systems to validate, monitor and ensure data accuracy for key

stakeholders and business processes

• Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific

business questions and identify opportunities for improvement

• Work closely with the Cloud and Data Science teams to build and deploy AI/ML and deep

learning models on big data analytics platforms
