- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams & individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
- Good experience of any functional programming knowledge of CI/CD
- Full development lifecycle from inception through implementation. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience with Relational Databases (we use Oracle/Hibernate, ORM)
- Working proficiency in developmental & code-versioning toolsets.
- Software engineering concepts such as caching, refactoring, design patterns, TDD etc
- Adhere to coding standards, procedures & techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation
- Adhere to IT control policies throughout design, development & testing & incorporate
- Incorporate architectural standards into application design specifications
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind Cloud-Foundry, Micro-Services & Scalable applications
- Participate in code reviews & ensure that all solutions are aligned to predefined architectural specifications
- Self-starter; demonstrate ability to complete assigned tasks independently with minimum supervision
- Team player, excellent written & oral communications skills, project management & client partnership ability
- Deep understanding of, & passion for, SDLC processes & automated tools, spanning requirements/issue management, defect tracking, source control, build automation, test automation & release management
Qualification:
- Engineering degree with 7-12 years of experience in the following
- Hands on experience and proficiency in Python Programming(including Pandas, Numpy, and web frameworks like CherryPy, Flask, Django) & Web services/REST APIs
- Proficiency in java script frameworks: REACTJS, JQuery, AJAX, Java-script, HTML5
- Proficiency in SQL development
- Familiarity with Subversion, JIRA, Maven & Jenkins, GIT
- Problem Solving: Must possess strong analytical ability. Probing, judgment & problem analysis techniques. Should possess & demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the business unit’s functions & applications.
- Demonstrate initiative / good judgment in decision making; taking appropriate actions on databases / products according to established standards & best practices with minimal assistance; communicates, collaborates, engages, escalates & educates stakeholders as appropriate
- Experience working in Financial Domain, exposure to Fed mandated regulatory reporting/Capital Stress Testing will be an added advantage
