Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders across Risk, Product, Technology, Sales, and Marketing to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.
- Translate high level business requirements/problems into sound and comprehensive analytical framework through usage of functional and technical skillset.
- Employ sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods to prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
- Deploy the models and expose it via webservice using frameworks like Flask/Django to help other business verticals to consume the results
Duties and Responsibilities :-
- Design, Development, Implementation, Testing, Maintenance and Support of Analytics Rest APIs.
- Work on data collection, processing, modeling and analysis, employ variety of languages and tools to marry system together.
- Develop dataset processes for data modeling, mining and production.
- Designing and developing data science and engineering solutions using the latest tools and platforms offered by AWS.
- Leverage large volumes of data from internal and external to answer business problems.
- Bring out useful and data driven insights from alternate data sources
Professional Experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science, software/computer engineering, applied mathematics, or physics statistics
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in Python.
- Hands on experience with H2o, Scikit-Learn, Keras, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, PySpark etc.
- Experience in python Frameworks like as Django, Flask etc.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Airflow, luigi, Azkaban etc.
- Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (data modeling, data warehousing)
- Experience with cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services (Lambda, Sagemaker, Glue etc)
- Experience with big data: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka is a huge plus
- Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Good To Have:
- Understanding of Deep Learning like CNN, RNN and Transformer Based Models in NLP
- Ability to code in Tensorflow or Pytorch
- Familiarity with Unix command line Interface
- Fair understanding of Banking/NBFC sector
