Roles and Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work in Collaboration with geographically distributed teams
• Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
• Analysing data and present data through reports that aid decision-making
• Support and work closely with the GCO/LLP Division and Development teams in Customer Implementations acting as Technical Lead/IT workstream coordinator
• Ability to closely liaise with business users and business analysts to understand the functional requirements and develop technical BI requirements.
• Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions as per needs
• Redefine and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems
• Participation in data warehouse design and implementation.
• Documenting data warehouse contents and data dictionary
• Should be able to think out of the box and contribute towards project success.
• Drive standards within Customer Solutions in order to improve our quality of IT solutions, time to market while reduce cost of solutions
• Communicate with the business stakeholders in order to proactively develop and drive innovative solutions
• Deliver information and trainings and support presales activities
• Coaching / training other the team members where necessary
• Identify gaps and submit changer requests documents for system enhancements

Technical Requirements:

• In-depth understanding of overall development process for Data Visualization/Business Intelligence and ETL process.
• Data extraction from various data sources. Data transformation and performance optimized data modelling.
• Experience in any of the data modelling and visualization tools like – PowerBI / Tableau / IBM Cognos / Diver (preferred)
• Knowledge of Data warehouse development, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Queries.
• Should be able to drill-down data and visualize data in the best possible way through charts / reports / dashboards.
• Good conceptual and functional understanding of the key IT applications used in the supply chain (e.g. TMS, OMS, Visibility and EDI integration, WMS)
• Demonstrate Microsoft office package skills and collaboration platforms (JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams)
