Job Description

You will be responsible for creating Business Requirement Documents, Data Quality reports, Mapping and Mapping documents. You will collaborate with Business users, Industry SMEs, Data scientists and Client Experts to drive data related project requirements. You will write various data transformation documents to acquire and ingest data from internal & external data sources. You will be involved in implementing data quality process and mechanisms to flag bad data for correction, and building QC rules.

5+ Years of Minimum Experience inProperty & Casualty insurance domainas a Business Analyst

Proficiency in creating the Business Requirement Documents

. Experience in creating mapping documents for Canonical Data Models

. Experience in Data Profiling

Work closely with business partners to identify and write technical specifications for system change requests, data structures and ETLs.

Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of partners organization and propose solutions.

Implement effective mapping of multiple source databases to centralized SQL Server target system(s) intended to supply business intelligence and general reporting systems.

Identify and Analyse data discrepancies and data quality issues.

Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures. Maintain up-to-date documentation on system details and mappings.

Good analytical skills; Very good communication (spoken / written) skills;

Demonstrated expertise with SQL

Intellectual curiosity and a desire to seek new challenges

Quick Learner with an excellent memory.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in technology / engineering (preferably in computer science)
