Job Location: Gurgaon
Role & Responsibilities Overview:
– Expected to work in close collaboration with the team and clients on DataMart building for general insurance claims & distribution team
– Assist team in gathering right data, performing Quality Checks, UAT with expectation to assist in Data Maintenance
– Analyzing, Interpreting and writing SQL codes as per client requirement for building Data Lakes
– Assess customer needs, pain points, behaviors, activation levers, headroom for growth, value propositions, etc.
– Manage business uncertainty, Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to client expectation
– Able to work in dual shore engagement across multiple time zones
– Facilitate client working sessions and lead recurring project status meetings
– Develop long-lasting, trusted advisor relationships with clients
– Manage day-to-day project operations, serve as the functional and domain expert on the projec team to ensure that they meet client expectations
Candidate Profile:
– Bachelor- s/Master’s degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
– 3-6 years- experience, preferably in insurance analytics
– Experience in working in dual shore engagement is preferred
– Must have experience in managing clients directly
– Extensive experience in data lake complete life cycle using SQL/SQL Server 2008/2008r2/2012
– Strong experience in data extraction and data manipulation in SQL/SAS(Preferred).
– Strong experience with tools like DB Visualizer, Redshift
– Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
– Demonstrated leadership ability and willingness to take initiative
– Strong record of achievement, solid analytical ability, and an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work
– Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
– Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
– Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
