• Will be a gatekeeper of the process automation pipeline.
• Process Discovery – Identify potential automation opportunities
• Understand and document obstacles that the development team might face once an automation kicks off
• Understands the level of detail that the development team requires to build an automation and can act as bridge between the business and the development teams.
• Shepherd the process from pre-Development stage to Production deployment. This includes,
  • Author the Process Design Document (PDD)
  • Liaising between Developer and SME of the respective process
  • Participate in Development shadowing during the BOT build
  • Ensure the technical build is in line with the stipulated business requirements and also compliance requirements of the particular process

Good to have traits

• A good understanding of the Settlements Clearing operations and familiarity with FinTech industry
• An understanding and interest in RPA area – (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, BluePrism etc)
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming System (OOPS) concept
